We had some awesome learners this week chosen as Principal’s Pick of the Week!

We're kicking off the holiday season with Festive Feet Fridays! Each Friday in December, students are encouraged to show off their festive feet with themed days. And watch for more information about Spirit Week coming up in a couple of weeks.

For the past two weeks in library, second graders learned about the origins of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. We read Balloons Over Broadway recounting puppeteer Tony Sarg’s creation of the balloons, watched a behind-the-scenes video, then created our own parade routes and tested them out using Ozobots. Thanks to SEMO’s Edvolution Center for allowing us to borrow the Ozobots!

Mrs. Pogue’s kindergarten class enjoyed turkey legs (brown bags filled with popcorn) today. They also got to shop at the Cat Cart for the first time this year. They were able to spend the white tickets they have collected for showing positive behavior to buy things from the cart!

Our art teacher, Mrs. Miller, is saving 8-ounce Cool Whip containers for an upcoming project. The containers do not need to have lids. Please save containers and send them in with your child. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
