Pictured below is an install that we have recently completed. The customer added on a closed-in porch to their home, and wanted to be able to cool and heat it properly during the year. Installed is a Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU 21 SEER Mini Split Heat Pump system. It is a ductless system that is controlled by a handheld remote. This type of system is perfect for regulating smaller areas such as this closed-in porch which sets at about 150 square feet. Below are photos of a recent upgrade that we did for Wellspring Church in St. Joseph, MO. The existing upstairs unit wasn’t working properly, and they were having troubles with getting too much airflow in some areas and little to none in others. Therefore, the upgrade consisted of replacing the old upstairs indoor and outdoor units along with adding automatic dampers in specific areas throughout the existing duct work to create even airflow. In order to control the dampers, w...e also added a Honeywell Zoning Panel and Honeywell WiFi ready thermostats for each zone to control each damper for when a specific area needs cooling. We replaced the existing units with a Trane 7.5 ton condenser for the outdoor unit, and a Trane 7.5 ton air handler for the indoor.
