The Music line-up for the 2021 Spring Mountain Music Festival

Shepherd Mountain Bike Park (SMBP) will officially open April 3, 2021. You will have an amazing MTB experience at SMBP. You will enjoy some of the best gravity... trails the Midwest has to offer. With 600 feet of vert, you will have some great downhill runs. SMBP has a 2.5 mile climbing trail, with a gradual grade, to get your bike and you to the hub for your downhill runs. Between runs, you can enjoy the flora, fauna, and views on Shepherd Mountain. Initially, a limited number of shuttle tickets will be available on weekend days only. As time progresses, more shuttles will be available, and shuttles will be available every day. Tickets MUST be purchased online in advance. The ticket sales site will be live soon. We will post updates, as we open more trails and improve our shuttle service. We appreciate your patience as we work to make Shepherd Mountain Bike Park the best MTB Park in the Midwest. See more

Skip the Hallmark Christmas Movies tomorrow (Sat Dec 12)& experience that small town Christmas vibe right here in the Valley! Carriage rides, campfires with fr...ee s’mores, live entertainment including a live Nativity, FREE rides on the Polar Express, & shopping at The Christmas market featuring several different vendors are just some of the activities that will help put you in the Christmas Spirit. There will be many photo opportunities with selfie stations, visits with the Grinch and, of course, photos with Santa. Santa will be available in front of the courthouse from 4:30 to 5:30 and again after the parade. Our local businesses are also going to be open and stocked with items perfect for the people on your Christmas list! So don’t miss the opportunity to check out the amazing variety our local businesses have to offer! All of the festivities kick off at 2pm with a reindeer fun run/walk benefiting the AV Sports Complex. Activities will conclude with the Christmas parade starting at 6pm. The parade will feature a Survival Flight helicopter flyover, music & dance performances by AV students, and many other lighted entries including Santa himself! See more
