Knoll Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Ferguson, Missouri"I am writing to you because we are a group of Taiwanese students and scholars, and we raised some money to order fabric masks to donate to institutions in St. Louis. We just received 500 fabric masks from Taiwan and are looking for institutions to donate. Can we collaborate with your project?In terms of our connection to St. Louis - Most of us are graduate students of Washington University in St. Louis or some of us work in the university. We also live here. We don’t know how to sew, so we decided to order masks from Taiwan, because we have a lots of fabric mask manufacturers back home. I was looking for ways to donate our masks on internet recently, and found your group. I was so amazed to see people were so flexible and willing to help! Earlier i was volunteering for another project to purchase surgical masks to donate to hospitals in North America, but I realized we don’t have enough surgical masks for community members, so my friend and I decide to raise money to buy fabric masks." - Lin Yi-Ling in our first communications with her.

() 500 Masks Donated We are happy to announce that we have donated 500 fabric masks from Taiwan to 5 organizations in St. Louis. Without the help from CY Lai and Inna Park, This would not have happened so fast . CY Lai contacts the World Pediatric Project in St. Louis. Inna Park is organizing a wonderful project - Fabric Facemasks for St. Louis, and she is very kind to suggest and connect us to four nursing homes in great need, including Crystal Creek Health and R...ehabilitation Center, The Estates of Spanish Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, St. Sophia Nursing Home, and Oak Knoll Nursing Rehabilitation Center. We also want to thank @Chinlu Lai and @Maud Essen (another wonderful person who is also dedicated to Fabric Facemasks for St. Louis) for picking up and delivering these masks to institutions mentioned above. Thank you all for your time and effort! Thank you also goes to all the donors and staffs of Midwest Taiwanese Biotechnology Association - MTBA and Formosa Theater in St. Louis.

Happy International Nurses Day! Our 2nd batch of masks is on the way to St. Louis!!! The manufacturer also kindly donates 17 masks for children and 21 masks for adults.
