Carol was raised in a home that was fraught with fear, threats and having to constantly escape and run. She accepted Jesus at the young age of 6, but her environment continued to hold her prisoner to fear, even after she married at a young age. When a life-changing decision nearly cost her life, God used 1 Peter 5:8 and 2 Timothy 1:7 as a catalyst to cast out that fear and give her hope and a deep hunger for the Word. It gave her the authority over her fear and to take captive every thought in obedience to Jesus (2 Corinthians 10:5). Listen as Carol shares how she let God take control of her life and the blessings she has experienced as a result.
