Springtime at the shop is the best time. We are open 10-6 Tuesday thru Sunday and are allowing 8 masked folks in at a time. If you don’t know, now you know!

It may be a rainy day but it is a tropical paradise over here! Also rainy days tend to be a little quieter around here if the plants aren’t tempting enough.

Winter to spring is always such a wild transition. Every winter we struggle to get the right flowers and then bam spring comes and we are all of a sudden flooded with gorgeous flowers from our land, that I would have done some weird shit for in January. The flowers are popping right now y’all! Growing our own blooms helps to make our arrangements super special. The winter struggle to get beautiful healthy blooms is over! We grew everything in this post and more in the stories! If you want to send flowers, now is the time!

Well as crazy as this year was, it’s been heartwarming to have such an amazing F&W family. Together we have navigated a world of changes, emotions, stresses and through it all we have supported each other and even managed to laugh! I’m proud to say that in the pandemic, We have kept 7 people employed, all making at least $15 an hour, with 5 days sick leave and 5 days vacation, and 6 full time employees with health care. It’s huge for us to be able to provide these benefits and healthcare to our staff, especially now. That’s what your money does in our small business As many times as we have changed our hours and procedures, just know it has been to keep everyone safe and as comfortable as possible, so thank you all for being so flexible and committed to supporting us. Looking forward to the future

Thank you everyone who has shopped online this past week. I’m happy to say, we have all tested negative, and will return to business as usual today! Our dear employee who tested positive has had a rough go of it, and we are all sending positive vibes they will feel better soon! The fact that it did not spread at F&W does give me a little faith we are doing things as safely as possible. So 6 masked people max in the shop. Keep your distance, and please only come if you pass the CDC self checklist!

Just when we open up, we have to close again. Unfortunately, one of our staff members has tested positive for Covid. They last worked Saturday, Dec 5th. We are taking precautions and closing our doors until we can all get tested. We have all been wearing masks around each other, but you can’t be too safe. We will still be processing online orders with contactless curbside pickup. A few things~ We feel it’s safe enough to continue online ordering and contactless curbside pic...k up. So to keep it contactless, here is how it works: Order online, we will fill your order, then you will receive an email stating you order is ready for pick up. Once you get to F&W CALL US FROM YOUR CAR 314-776-2887 We will place your order on the bench outside the front door on Compton Ave, then sneak back inside. You can then pop out of your car and grab your items. P/U between the hours of 11 & 5 Tuesday- Sunday. It’s scary as hell to close when we are supposed to be making a winters nest egg, so I’m asking for your support! Gift cards, subscription flowers, terrarium kits, T-shirts. They are all online and great gifts! We love you and hate Covid. Xo
