Monday Dancers: Tonight is our last night of dance class before Christmas Break! We are celebrating with our studio Christmas party in each class! Wear your festive Christmas attire (PJs, sweaters, etc)! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Good morning dancers! I am really sad to announce that Tuesday classes for December 8th and December 15th will be cancelled and rescheduled. Miss Kylee’s husband is a Paramedic and got diagnosed with COVID this week, as did Miss Kylee today. Tuesday night classes will resume January 5th following our winter break! Monday classes will still be in session with Miss Bailey! ... Our Tuesday night kids Pajama party will now be happening January 5th! Mark your calendars! Our makeup dates will be set for January 7th and February 11th! To my Tuesday dancers, I am very sorry! I hope you have an amazing winter break, a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!! You‘re not required to participate or order every costume! If your child only wants to do one dance out of the three, that is perfectly fine! 14 & up- your tap dance will be flannels and jeans. ONE day until recital!! Our recitals will be held at the Neosho High School Auditorium. Dress Rehearsal 2-5: 10:00am. With makeup and costumes. Dancers must be there by 9:30am. ... Dress Rehearsal 6-18, Technique & Hip Hop: 11:30am. With makeup and costumes! Dancers must be there by 11am. Recital 2-5: 4:30pm, all dancers must be there NO LATER than 4:00pm. 11-13 Class: I would like to schedule an extra practice. I am willing to do whatever we need to help us be successful at recital! However, I know this is last minute and may not be convenient for all. If you can, I will be at the studio tonight (Wednesday, July 15th) from 5-6pm. IMPORTANT NEWS: After much thought and discussion, we have decided to make a few important changes for Recital 2020. We want to apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause; however, we feel this is the best option to keep our dancers and families safe. Please read the following information to stay up to date. We are going to break our recital into 2 performances. By doing so, we are able to limit the number of bodies within the auditorium at one time. In additi...on, we will be limiting the audience to 6 guests per dancer. We will provide you with 6 tickets per dancer. You must have your ticket to enter. Children that can sit on a lap will not require a ticket. We understand that this is not ideal; however, it is our mission to protect our dance family as best as possible. You may absolutely video/livestream your dancer for those who are unable to attend. Additionally, we will be holding dress rehearsal as planned in our 2 groups: 2-3 & 4-5 classes will begin rehearsal at 10am on July 19th. Please arrive NO later than 9:30am. Please have your dancer dressed and ready in their first costume with recital hair and makeup done. 6-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-18, Technique & Hip Hop will rehearse at 11:30am. Please arrive NO later than 11am. Please have your dancer dressed and ready in their first costume with recital hair and makeup done. Please do not enter the building until we open the doors for you. We will move through rehearsals as quick as possible in order to give time for sanitizing between groups. Please be patient with us as we navigate through this. Recital: 2-3 & 4-5 Recital will begin at 4:30pm. Doors will open for guests at 3:45pm. Here is important information! EVERYONE MUST ATTEND DANCE PICTURES ON JULY 7th! You do not have to buy pictures, but you must attend. This is so we can have group pictures of all our dancers! Dance pictures will be held at the Neosho Event Center! The address is 214 E. Main Street, Neosho. It’s directly across from Hope Kitchen! ... Everyone is required to wear costumes WITH tights!! No bras or undies will be allowed to show, so please plan accordingly! Makeup is required. It may be subtle, but please wear some. Hair is to be in a low pony with hair out of face. Ages 2-5 hair is to be half up and half down! Please come DRESSED and ready in your FIRST costume. To find which one is your first costume, it is located on the costume sheet we gave you during costume try on. If you have any questions please message us. PLEASEEEE don’t be late for your picture time!!! We are going to try and be as prompt as possible, but we know some things will run behind. Guess what week it is?! COSTUME WEEK!!!! We are so excited to finally see all our dancers in their costumes! Here’s a few reminders we want to give you! ONE parent MUST be present with each child for costume night. This is to ensure that nothing gets misplaced on costumes. It will also help the parents know how the costume is to be on for recital! We will also be handing out a paper stating how hair must be and what pieces go with which costume. This will take ...place at the BEGINNING of classes, so parents please stay for their class time. MONDAY classes: if you dance on Tuesdays, you will be trying ALL costumes on Tuesday night. If you only attend Monday classes we will have you try yours on during class time on Monday. We will be locking the studio door during class times to ensure that no one walks in while the girls are changing. The windows will also have black trash bags on them to ensure no one can see in the studio. Lastly, we will be making sure we have each child’s correct T-shirt size for recital shirts. That order will go in on Wednesday of this week. Parents, if you would like a recital T-shirt please let us know during class time. The child’s shirt was paid for in recital fee; however, if parents would like a shirt they are $10. We will sanitizing between each class like we did last week. Our first night back to dance at the studio was a success! We want to thank you for being patient with us as we work out the kinks with transitioning back to the studio for classes. We want to share a few of the precautions that we are taking in the studio: 1. We are sanitizing as dancers come into the studio as well as during class and exiting the studio. 2. We have closed the lobby to reduce traffic. 3. We have shortened class times in an effort to keep contact between p...eople as minimal as possible! 4. We are sanitizing the studio in between each class (spraying the room and wiping down surfaces). 5. We are sanitizing the bathroom after every use. 6. We have put spots on the floor for our dancers marking six foot distances. We have a few areas that we know we need to improve and we are working on those things immediately! (i.e entry of the studio as well as dismissal to follow social distancing guidelines)! We will update if any policies change! Inthe meantime, thank you for bearing with us as we navigate our new normal!

Hello Dancers!! We have GREAT news!! We are going back to the studio effective June 1st! Class time will remain the same as it was at the park and tuition will be $30. We will however have new rules going forward! 1. The lobby will be closed until further notice in order to keep traffic as minimal as possible. Please stay in your vehicles until we come to the door for class to start. We will signal that we are ready for our dancers to come. Please stay in your car for the... remainder of class. Once class is finished, we will walk the dancers to the door and monitor as they get into your cars. Please be vigilant and pay attention when entering and exiting the parking lot as safety is a main priority. By closing the lobby, we are helping to ensure social distancing and this will give us the opportunity to properly sanitize in between classes. (This policy does NOT apply to the 2-3 year old class! One parent will be allowed per child in the 2-3 year old class!) 2- NO food or drinks in the studio. 3-Hand sanitizer will be available upon arrival and throughout classes, if needed. 4- You may wear a mask, but it is not required. 5- Please use the restroom prior to class if possible! We want to limit dancers using our bathroom as much as possible, because we will have to sanitize every time and that will take away from class time! If it’s an emergency, of course we will let them go! If your child is sick in any way, please do not send them to classes. Important dates: June 8th & 9th- Costume try-on. This will be done during normal class times! One parent must be present with their child to try on costumes. This will ensure that no costume pieces get lost. We will be putting in a shoe order on this night as well, if your child is needing shoes please let us know that night! July 7th- pictures at the studio. During normal class times. July 14th- Recital run through (No costumes) at Big Spring Park! ALL students, ALL classes will be at the park at 5:30! This will take a couple of hours, so please eat before and bring chairs or blankets to sit on! July 19th- RECITAL!!! at the civic in Neosho. (unless the city won’t allow which we are hoping doesn’t happen, but Covid May change that) 10am is recital run through with costumes and makeup. 6:30pm is recital! Well, we waited as long as we could, but unfortunately, due to rain starting up and flooding at Big Spring Park, classes for tonight are going to be cancelled. We are working on a plan of action for returning to the studio as well as making up the classes that we have missed! Please stay tuned for this information! Due to extremely wet conditions outside, classes scheduled for tonight May 27th, at Big Spring Park, will be cancelled. We are hopeful that we can reschedule these classes ASAP! UPDATE!! Hi Dancers & parents!! We are officially going back to dancing on May 11th! We want to make sure we are following the social distancing rules as well. We are going to be having dance class at Big Spring Park here in Neosho! (Unless it is raining, then classes will be cancelled). We will all meet at the park and hold dance class on the big white stage there! We are required to stay 6 feet apart, except our 2-3 class which the parents are allowed to help their child!... Moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas, if you would like to watch dance class that’s perfectly fine! Being a lawn chair, set it up 6 feet apart from one another! Just know that class outdoors will be different than what it is when we are in studio! Our first class, May 11th-12th we would like to have a parent meeting at the beginning of classes! That way you will know what the rest of our season will hold and recital details!! We are adapting class times and tuition. Below is the new class times! This is class times for the rest of the year, unless otherwise noted! Our goal is to be back in the studio by June, so these times may change! Tuition: Every child will be $30 a month. $25 for technique & hiphop add ons! There will not be any sibling discount. With the tuition change, this should make everyone’s cheaper or the same! T U E S D A Y That means it’s dance day!! Here’s a video for our dancers to practice!! Remember to practice your recital dances. We’ll be back in the studio as quickly & safely as we can!! As for going back, we will be following Missouri governors stay at home order which he pushed back until May 3rd! We’re hoping this is the last push back we will have to do, but our main priority is the safety of all our dancers.
