Happy 200th year Birthday to State of Missouri! founded in 1821! from Florida Winery in Florida, Mo Mark Twain Lake. Perhaps nothing represents the hard times to settle Missouri than depicted in native Missourian Bingham's painting "Fur Traders descending the Missouri River" . This painting from 1845 is the most popularly viewed painting in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Florida Winery shares some of that Missouri History in each summer with its winery patrons off the lake and roads of Missouri. See you at our opening in May 2021. Happy New Years!
