FISH Volunteers of Cape Girardeau 28.05.2021

We wish to send special thanks to the students and faculty of St. Paul Lutheran School in Jackson who did a special food drive for Lutheran Schools week and brought the FISH Pamtry approximately 300 lbs of non parishable foods to distribute to those in need. You can't imagine how much this means not only to our pantry, but to those come to our pantry for help with food' Blessings to all of you for your generosity!

A big thank you to the SEMO RedHawks Girls Basketball team for helping at the pantry today! They assisted with bagging powdered milk, making meal packs as well as helping sort and shelve a large donation. We much appreciate the help!

The season of giving is rapidly approaching and we would like to remind you if you group or organization is interested in hosting a food drive or maybe collecting items at a holiday party or a meeting, please consider the FISH Pantry as your recipient for those item. Not only can we use non perishable items, but we can also use things like office supplies and storage/freezer bags in various sizes, jpaper products and personal hygiene items, backackpacks and tote bags (any... condition as long as they are usable-these are used for those who do not have transportation and walk to the pantry).. We are glad to provide you with a list of specific items we need the most, but are glad to recieve donations of any kind and will see that they are given to those in need. Give us a call if you need us to pick up items, need boxes for packing donations or we can assist in any other way. Also, if you are cleaning out cabinates before the holidays, we accept any items that are unopened. we are not able to give out containers that are open or home canned.. We do accept expired item and make them available for clients to take if they wish in addition to what we provide. If you are not able bring items to the pantry during our normal operating hours, you make take items to Schnucks and place items in the 2 large containers in thier entry way. We pick these items up on a regular basis. We can also make alternate arrangements if needed-call us if you need to make arrangements to get donations to us. We have been so blessed by Fieinds of FISH Volunteers. We appreciate all your support and donations. Our current needs include Cold cereal, cornbread mix,, bxoed potatoes, Jello, toilet paper and paper towels. Donations can be dropped of at the pantry 106 S. Sprigg on M-W-F between 9am-11:30 am. You can also drop off donations iat Schnucks -donation barrels are located in the entry of the building. You can also conact the pantry at 334-0207 and leave a message to mak...e arrangements to drop off donations outside our open hours ot to make arrangements for larger donations to be picked up. you can also inbox me if you have questions or need to make arrangements regarding donations, Thank you all again so much for all your kind donations and for keeping us in your prayers.
