JOY TO THE WORLD PROJECT Do you sing along when the congregation sings Joy to the World? It is a sure way to get you in the Christmas spirit, and think how lovely it would be to sound like we were in the sanctuary all singing together. Earl blasting on the pipe organ and a plethora of voices bursting forth. Unchanged voices are encouraged to join in singing the Soprano part. If we get enough kids, we can feature them on one of verses. I would love to hear our children si...nging. I have instructions on how to make the recording if you are interested, but briefly you are listening to Earl play and me sing, and watching me lead the hymn. The recording you make will be of your voice only, but it doesn’t feel awkward because you have a lot of support. One of the things keeping me rooted these days is remembering to take it one day at a time. It is so easy to focus on missing what cannot be or the difficult ro...ad still ahead in the pandemic. In staying attentive to the present, I am able to attend to my grief, while also being open to the affirmation of life that is still very much present. I offer you this holiday message and video and encourage you to use it in your own virtual programming in the coming weeks.

I heard Santa is going to be there! Santa understands that it's important to be COVID safe so he's gonna pop in and take Christmas requests on Zoom this year!
