On Sunday Lily Invited people to contribute to the self-care box project that she and some of her colleagues at Southeast Missouri State University are putting together. It is an effort to show support and solidarity for the medical personnel working so hard to take care of our area residents. There is a collection box outside of Mike's office. Financial gifts can be made via Paypal on the organization's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/boxesforcapecovidcarers/

Our regional hospitals in Cape Girardeau have seen a growing number of Covid patients in recent weeks and the staff in these hospitals have been working harder than ever to care for our friends, family, and neighbors. Some of us who are unable to lend support in person are putting together self-care boxes to show our love and support for those working in the Covid unit. If you would like to contribute, please visit our facebook group. -Lily Williams... https://www.facebook.com/groups/boxesforcapecovidcarers

Jansen, Jessica, and Candice do a wonderful job reminding our kids that they are a vital part of our congregation. This week's Scripture lesson was Daniel and the Lion's den. Candice reminded the kids that no matter what circumstances they face, God is there offering protection and support.
