It has always been our mission to provide FLS artists access to a variety of art mediums and supplies in order to give them the tools to express themselves creatively. During our extended program closure we delivered the majority of our studio's art supplies to our artists' homes. As we prepare to reopen our studio next Wednesday, October 28th, in order to mitigate the spread of germs, we will be providing each of our artists who return with their own individual stock of art... materials (rather than shared supplies amongst everyone). As a non-profit that has been closed since March, now more than ever, we need your help and support to provide our artists with supplies! After much consideration, FLS is reopening to a limited number of #FLSartists on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020. Our program & divisional leadership have worked closely with RHD’s Reopening & Safety committees, as well as our funders, to ensure that all necessary steps have been taken to adequately prepare our site to resume providing services. The safety & well-being of our artists & staff is our top priority. We are looking forward to welcoming back those that are ready, and sharing space for creating art once again.
