Filley Christian Church

Why is today Good Friday? Because a little more than 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ took our sins to the cross, where He died and shed His blood for our sins, wa...s buried for our sins, and on the third day God raised Him to life. If we trust Him by faith and repent of our sins, God will forgive us, heal our hearts, and give us a new life with Him for eternity. Now that’s a good Friday! Matter of fact, it’s a REAL GOOD FRIDAY! Praise God! "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

It would be amiss if we didn't stop to thank our Heavenly Father for all the answered prayers these past few weeks. He is good and faithful, and deserves ALL the praise and glory. He ALONE is to be praised! Let's not be the 9 who didn't thank Him!

One of my favorite memories of Filley Christian Church is September 24, 1995. It's the day I became the wife of my husband, Lance. Filley Christian Church is a blessing and a wonderful place to grow and learn what God's will is for our lives With other church family members. There are so many good memories.
