It is amazing how much can change in five minutes. My rainbow greatly disappeared in just five minutes but it was still beautiful. I love my river.
I am bringing out some of my personal collection so now is your chance for some special items.
On my nightly walk I found another new sign. Better safe than sorry.
I stayed dry tonight on my walk but there were some pretty angry clouds hanging out over Clarksville.
I tried to get my walk in between showers today. That didn't happen but I did have my umbrella with me and I completed my full lap and a half. While walking I noticed some nice new signage up that can be seen from the river. It is nice to let people know where they are and what is available.
My doctor has me walking everyday. I have increased my walk from once around the River Front Park to one and a half times around so far increasing a half a loop every five days. Today I managed to sneak my walk in between rain showers. The clouds were beautiful and I just had to snap a few pictures.
I escaped my house today and went for a walk along the River Front . It was perfect weather for walking around the sidewalk and just enjoying the river views. I stood and looked at Richards house for a while and wondered if it is the end of an era where people take great pride in their homes. Well so far so good on the river front. We could really use a summer without flooding. Good night Richard where ever you and Missy and Sissy are.
If you are looking for crockery I know a place to go. I just took a new supply to the Clarksville Antique Center.
Guess what day tomorrow is! The opening of the Clarksville Antique Center. Yes Monday May 4th and we are excited to see you again. Remember they are closed on Tuesday's.
I didn't think it was suppose to rain but these clouds rolled in this afternoon.
The weather was wonderful this afternoon. There has been a lot of clouds but the breeze was gentle and the water was a blue/purple. It was so peaceful except when the barge decided to park in front of my house for a while.
The big pleasure boats are now on the river. They kept their six foot distance.
What the Lock and Dam looked like at 11:00 this morning. It was beautiful.
