Since the onset of COVID-19, child abuse reports have dropped. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean that child abuse is actually declining. In fact, it is likely that incidents of abuse are increasing and being left unreported. What can you do? Check in on your loved ones. Child abuse is preventable. If you suspect a child is being abused, call 1-800-392-3738 or your local law enforcement agency. #ChildAbusePreventionMonth #LiveUnited

This month, we are celebrating post and current leaders who have fought for the financial stability of Black Americans throughout history. United Way is committed to addressing issues like chronic unemployment, homelessness, and financial illiteracy that disproportionately affect Black Americans. Together we can make a difference. #BlackHistoryMonth #LiveUnited #StandTogether

Boy Scouts of America practices a fun, hands-on approach to learning. They put kids right in the middle of action, preparing them for life. Let's celebrate and honor the scouts we know and love today by recognizing them for their service.

The Washington Warming Center was utilized for 395 stays in January. February is predicted to be even colder. As temperatures continue to plummet, our unsheltered community needs help. The warming center is out of funding. If we are not able to raise more funds soon, we will be forced to close the center before warmer weather arrives. If you are able to protect our unsheltered neighbors this winter, click the link below. gf.me/u/y6dd6n

Day 1: Since joining the board, I comprehend all of the good the organization does for our community. The amount of people that are helped by the various organizations is truly astounding! I have learned so much from our various site visits and meetings with member agencies. There are some exceptional organizations run by some incredible people in our community. We are lucky they continue to provide their various services to those in need. #countdowntocampaign #whatsyourwhy #liveunited
