Tried a new method of growing squash this year and I am here for it. Each plant was trained to climb a stake. As the plant fruits, all foliage and flowers below are removed as you harvest. Pros: *Plants can be planted much closer together *Intimate knowledge of each plant - easy to spot and remove squash bugs and eggs *Loads more fruit... Cons: *Tedious *Loads more fruit
