For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.(1Corinthians1:18). But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. I go over the whole chapter and find out what he has promised.(1cor.15:57-58) have a blessed and fruitful day in the Lord

Something to consider by Pastor Bud. Just thinking, about Bible account of Jesus healing a man who had a withered hand (Mark 3:1-6). And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. FYI Herodians a political party, that opposed the Pharisees.they wanted to keep a decenndant of Herod on the throne in Judea the Pharisees wanted a decenndant of David on the throne. Can't help but notice how people that are on ...opposite sides can work together for a mutual cause. In this case their hatred of Jesus. Now please I'm not naive enough to think everyone is going to come together. But look at this (Genesis 11:6). And the Lord said, behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do. From Pastor Bud: Just thinking, so many people seem to be fearful of things coming our way, the news is a constant source of bad. I certainly don't deny the reality of the reports. As a young pastor in the late 70s it seemed everything went wrong including the economy. Of course I preached a constant series'of end times, I guess you could say gloom, and doom, I think it was in 81 an elderly brother a long time family friend approached me and, gave me good counsel. God has always had a people and He has always cared for them. That lines up with the scripture, and changed my heart, And brought me Hope. Yes Jesus will return and ask me what I've done with the gift he gave, so cheer up work with what he gave you, and know you are not responsible for another man's gift. Check out Matthew 25, parable of the talents. Be blessed
