At Expressions Dental we are proud to announce that we have added air purifiers for patients and team members safety. We made the decision to go above and beyond what most dental practices are doing to try and keep everyone safe and healthy. They have been placed in every operatory so you may notice it at your next visit. Surgically Clean Air's purifiers use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The six ...(6) stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air in workplaces. The negative ion generator makes indoor feel more pure, clean and energized to help combat fatigue. Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our amazing assistant Haily! We know this is going to be her best year yet! Haily and her husband are having their first child later this summer! We are all so excited to welcome Expressions Dental’s newest edition to the family!

To our valued patients and community, Our office is scheduled to resume normal dental care on Monday, May 4th, 2020. Over the last six weeks we have been seeing emergency patients only. During this time, we have been acquiring the proper PPE to keep team members and patients safe. We will all be here to serve your dental needs, but we may look a little different. You may notice some additional procedures that we are doing to keep everyone safe. All patients will be asked... to remain in their cars and call to check in for your appointment. Someone will come out to get you and we ask that only the actual patient come into the office. Upon entry to the office your temperature will be checked and if it is above 100.3 degrees you will not be able to be seen that day. If you have not been feeling well or have been around anyone that has been sick, we ask that you reschedule your appointment as well. In addition, we will give you a medicated mouthwash to rinse with before any type of appointment. We have also purchased an air filtration system for the office that will help to minimize aerosols that can occur during dental treatment. It was a significant investment that was not mandated, but we felt it was a necessary additional precaution best for patient and team safety. Finally, starting on May 11th, Dr. Justin Fox will be joining our practice to help with your dental care. Dr. Fox graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2018 receiving honors in Oral Surgery and Advanced Restorative Studies. Dr. Fox has been working in corporate dentistry but has decided that he wanted to be in a private practice. We are all excited about adding Dr. Fox to our team and he will be very important in making sure all your dental health needs are met. We all can’t wait to see you. Dr. Moan and Team.

Our office will be closed for patient care effective Monday March 23 April 24 due to the coronavirus. Local and national dental societies have recommended the shutdown due to the large amount of aerosols generated while doing dentistry. This includes routine cleanings. While our office takes standard precaution in sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces, we all must do our part to keep our community from spreading this virus. We will be available by phone Monday ... Thursday from 9:00AM-12:00PM If you are a patient of record and a dental emergency arises during the office closure, please call the office during these hours. Our team will then make a decision on making an appointment and possible treatment. If you had a scheduled appointment during this 2-week period, our office will be in contact with you to reschedule. Expressions Dental Group is taking the Coronavirus outbreak very seriously and wanted to update you on everything we are doing to ensure your health and safety at our dental office. We are following guidelines in addition to our already standard sterilization procedures. We are investing extra time daily to allow for more frequent cleanings. Our entrance doors, iPads, desks, pens, chairs are cleaned thoroughly many times during the day. These are only a few examples of thin...gs that we do all of the time on a regular basis but we want our patients to know that we care. We want you to feel comfortable and safe and we are doing everything possible to keep you safe, our dental office clean, and sanitized when coming in for your visit. Our hearts go out to anyone affected including those who were planning any major events that have been cancelled or postponed. Happy Birthday to our amazing insurance coordinator Marissa! Marissa not only works hard to make sure our patients are set for their appointments, but she is also a certified dental assistant. She is an important asset to our team and we can’t thank her enough for her hard work everyday.
