Just a quick note to say Happy Martin Luther King Jr day.. A Great American, and a Wonderful, Shining and Enduring example; of what it means to be American.. King was the chief spokesperson for nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. The campaign for a federal holiday in King's honor began soon after his assassination in 1968. President Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it was first observed three years later. At first, some states resisted observing the holiday as such, giving it alternative names or combining it with other holidays. It was officially observed in all 50 states for the first time in 2000.

It would appear that Apples on the move again.. Working diligently to generate revenue for the company I had four more devices this morning come in that had done an update recently that are dead. REPOST: ... PLEASE STOP DOING IPHONE UPDATES PERIOD.. to quantify really what I'm saying is the phones that don't do updates don't seem to have these problems ever.. Last week I had eight phones come to me dead from a bad Apple update.. I was able to resurrect one of them.. Settings, general software update and at the bottom disable automatic updates both of them.. Since 2006 I have been urging my customers to stop doing updates, after 37 years in the hardware end of the IT industry if it ain't broke don't fix it.. When those phones die the data is gone. Within 36 hours of the release of iOS 14 I had over 10 phones come to me dead from the update, and four more in the next two days. I was able to bring three of those phones back all of the rest are dead and the data was irretrievable.. Settings General Software Update, and Automatic Updates disable them both.. if you're looking to roll the dice the Ameristar is a much better place to go
