WE ARE FULL UP! With a few exceptions(see below) we have to stop accepting donations for now, we simply have no more space. If you have been thinking of visiting us, but haven't made it in, please come check us out, we need to make some room.... If you considered volunteering, please stop in and talk to us, we could use the help. We could still use the following items, as they are always in high demand. DVDs, everyday silverware, modern fiction and romance books, yarn. Unfortunately, aside from those few items, we cannot accept any more donations at this time, we hope to resume accepting everything soon. If you have stuff to donate, and are struggling to find a place. Message us and we will try to help you.

We tend to not be very busy in the 10AM to 11AM hour, and we suspect there are people who would like to visit us, but cannot make it by 5PM. So we are considering switching the hours up a bit to open and close a bit later. Any thoughts or suggestions on this idea?

PLLLLLLEEEEEAAAASE don't!!!!!!!! One of our neighbors stopped by today and told us there were boxes stacked outside one of our back doors, getting rained on. The boxes were not there when our neighbor left yesterday, so they were left sometime last night. I have checked our messages, no one seems to have reached out to let us know they were dropping anything off. Unfortunately, since they were out in the rain all morning, most of the items were ruined, and the boxes fell ap...art when we tried lifting them. So our volunteers had to spend a fair bit of time cleaning up the mess and hauling it to the trash. Please Do Not leave donations after hours without making prior arrangements. Our landlord and the city of Arnold don't appreciate it. Worse yet, the items you donate are likely to go unnoticed and may be damaged. We will do our best to meet you after hours if you cannot donate while we are open. Please message or call us with enough advance notice to make arrangements with one of our volunteers. At Encore Thrift Store we do enjoy Christmas, but we do not get out Christmas decor before Thanksgiving. So we will begin bringing it all out soon for you to peruse and take home with you. We can assure one and all that we have massive quantities of Christmas decor of every type. We will begin setting it all out soon. We can also assure that we offer this decor cheap! You can decorate your home for pennies on the dollar compared to any other store. Please stop in and se...e us after Thanksgiving to see what we have to offer. As we are all volunteers, all proceeds from our sales go to help local folks in need. We want everyone to be able to decorate their homes this year. If you cannot afford decorations for any reason, please stop in and talk with one of our volunteers. Allow us to thank Zowie Dorworth and her mom Virginia. Today they delivered 14 turkeys on behalf of Cub Pack 450 at Lonedell Elementary. We will be distributing them to families we serve who would not otherwise be able to have a turkey for Thanksgiving. Thank you very much Cub Pack 450!

Just donated yesterday, Greatland folding chair with footrest. We are asking $5, come have a look at it, may not last long!
