Nursing shortages are a great part of why we have non-compliance in nursing homes related to Covid-19 policies and procedures which are creating unsafe housing of our communities’ elderly residents. Please be a part of the solution. Travel nursing provides a large portion of staffing in these facilities. If interested in working PRN in order to help these communities reach out to me in my DM! Also, share with your leadership that CMS is back on its grind and returning to facilities after a long break! Large fines await those who are not on top of their game! Do your part as a nurse, as well, by keeping up on your policies and procedures, handwashing, proper dress and undress of PPE, and documenting appropriately!
