Whether you are talking to yourself, or listening to someone else, keep in mind that words are promises, and without being backed by action, they are cheap and worthless. Don't be cheap. Don't accept cheap in your life. So. Much. Time. is wasted believing words that have no meaning. Let the way you live speak for you. Be loud in the action of what you stand for, and who you are. Carpe diem!

Everyone wants to be madly in love forever, but most relationships realistically cycle through periods of intense connection, and growing apart - over and over again. For some it's very mild, and for others it's more extreme. There's no class in school where we learn the care and feeding of long term relationships, so most of us are just bumbling through, figuring it out as we go along. To keep on a more even keel, pay attention to making little adjustments along the way in y...our relationship. Don't stop trying to improve when you're riding a high, and don't wait until you are scared, angry, or not sure you're in love before you make necessary corrections. Staying together isn't about falling in love once, and staying there forever. It's about falling in love again and again, and hopefully going deeper in your intimate bond. Don't panic when you hit a down-swing. Accept that it's a normal phase, and make an effort to reconnect. Set some goals together for the future. Get excited about something together. See more

We threw drop cloths on everything, and turned our beautiful space into a temporary art studio last night. Guest teacher and artist, Elmari, led us in the creation of a painted business vision board for our half-year check in.
