some good advice to help the restaurants this winter. Please Share! Do you want to help save restaurants, here are a few tips that will help. 1. You do not hav...e to eat dinner at 7:00, start making your reservations early or late like 5:00 or 9:00. This will allow the restaurant to do a full 3 seating's, maximizing the limited space that have. 2. Happy hour starts early, this is a great time to get a quick cheap drink or bite and helps the restaurant start getting primed for dinner service. 3. Be verbal with your intentions, are you only there for a round of cocktails? Are you waiting for another reservation at another restaurant? Is this a first date and you are trying to get to know each other? Have you not seen each other since college and you have lots of catching up to do. Anniversary, Birthday, Graduation? All of those things are great, just let your server know, so they can plan accordingly. 4. Every restaurant is limiting the seating time you get to be there. Get use to being in and out in 1.5 - 2 hours. 5. Monday is just as good as Friday, since you are likely going to be eating an earlier dinner anyway stop just going out on the weekends. Visit restaurant during traditionally slower days. Plus every restaurant is running their A team every day now. 6. Be understanding, if all the above fail and somebody is not moving quickly and has been sitting at their table for a longer than expected time period and your prime time 7:00 reservation time is not ready, do not take time away from the host and manger by yelling at them and getting upset your reservation is not ready yet. We really are trying to make every experience a great one for you and others. 7. It is winter time, dress like it. a) wear layers b) bring an appropriate jacket or coat/scarf ect. Bring a blanket or something nice to wrap up in. Then ask the host to sit outside under the nice extended patio. 8. DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS AT MULTIPLE RESTAURANTS AND THEN DECIDE LAST MINUTE WHICH ONE YOU ARE GOING TO GO TO. ON THE SAME NOTE DO NOT NO SHOW YOUR RESERVATION!
