Little behind again, this was from a couple weekends ago when Pat had her birthday! Her family came for a visit and brought cupcakes for everyone and party hats and more.

Father brought us some palms and did a small service for our Catholic residents.

It's a cold one today, but we are seeing spring popping up at EHCC

Little behind, a few weeks ago Nancee had a visit with some family from out of state.

Its Presidents Day 2021! This morning conversation at breakfast was, Who is You Favorite President? So we must ask our Facabook Friends, Who is Your Favorite President?

It is snowing here at EHCC it is 0 degrees, feels like -18. I just wanted to update you on the conditions here, just incase you had planned a visit today. We plan to enjoy this blizzard like day with Music Live from Jesse Vaughn and eatting Banana Splits for Jim Carson's 86th Birthday his family sent. So we are going to have a great day here. Be careful if you do plan to make a trip out.

Christmas Eve 2020

Charlotte's Flower Shop out of Troy, MO sent flowers for every resident and for every staff that is working today for Valentine's Day. THANK YOU, Brenda!!!!!! They are all so Beautiful.

Merry Christmas 2020

This week we had some great Christmas Activities planned . . But then we all got quarantined. Santa was unable to make his annual visit and he was going to bring a special quest to sing in the lobby. Today we was suppose to decorate Christmas Cookies . . And we could not do that. . .so the kitchen baked us up some sugar cookies, and the nursing staff decorated them and then activites handed them out while Jessie Vaughn played over the intercom. It's been such a different, difficult holiday season. But we are all making the most of it with smiles on our faces and laughter coming for our mouths. We know the true reason for this season and know that we are all in Gods hands. Stay Postive and Healthy this Christmas. Please remember to wear your mask and use social distancing when you can.

We have had some families ask if the Residents will be able to go out for Christmas. They will not be able to go out. Also we are working on Christmas Visiting as we did for Thanksgiving. But at this time are uncertain of times. Thank you.

Halloween Charades . . We all left with hands full of candy.

There will be Indoor-Porch Visits on the Sunday before Thanksgiving November 22, 2020 . The hours will be from 7am-3pm. They will be set up in 30 minute seasons with 10 minute cleaning in between. As with all Indoor-Porch Visits, you must call ahead of time for a time slot.
