Roper engagement photos. Had a blast taking this couples photos. Fought the wind and the cold for several hours, but they stuck it out and we ended up with some gorgeous shots! Congrats you guys!
NYC during a pandemic was quite an experience. These were all taken in Manhattan on a cold and rainy day. The streets were silent, and we ran into very few people. The ones we did see didn't stop to talk to us and usually tried to walk as far away from us as possible as if we were lepers. The subways were empty, Ground Zero was closed, and the usually packed Times Square was absolutely vacant with the exception of a few people taking photos and NYPD patrolling to make sure th...e shops were secure. These aren't happy, or even pretty photographs... but they are very real. The atmosphere, and the very soul of the city was bleak, dark, and screaming negativity. The silent killer of this pandemic has been loneliness and depression that has led to substance abuse, self harm, and suicide at an alarming rate. That inspired me to capture some of the darker side of these lockdowns. To show how what can look so normal to you and I, can be a scene of darkness and depression to those around us suffering from mental health conditions. So while the world is screaming "stay home!" And supporting lock downs, just remember... the world looks quite different to someone who could be standing right next to you. See more

The size of this monument is truly something to behold! Had a great time over the weekend visiting this park, and exploring the riverfront.
I wasn't expecting to shoot leaves in a creek today. But due to weather changes and other circumstances beyond my control I had to come up with some new ideas on the fly. Here are a couple of shots I walked away with.
I love black and white photos! There's just something about them that captivates me.
