UVB (Think UV Basil Cell Carcinoma)- has a short wavelength and therefore higher energy but primarily affects epidermal cells. When UVB hits the skin, because the energy is so great..., it is capable of creating damage to the DNA of epidermal cells. This can create a mutation that leads to cancerous cell growth. UVA (Think UV Aging)- has a longer wavelength and penetrates deeper into the dermis, however, it has significantly less energy than UVB. My dear clients and friends, we did good. We did very very VERY GOOD!!! Our annual raffle charity drive was a genuine success!! We just gave a $1000.00 check to @rosebrookskc to help end the cycle of domestic abuse. This is our third year giving to them and once again we beat the year prior. I’m so humbled by your generosity. Actual Raffle proceeds totaled $940, with 84 of you giving!! Elevate then rounded that donation up to make it a nice round number! I hesitated posting these pics bc here’s the deal, this was her FIRST brow wax and honestly she didn’t even need it. I mean just look at those perfect untouched brows. These are literally the brows were all trying to GET BACK to ... and she’s just out walking among us with these unbelievably gorgeous brows. Life isn’t fair my friends. So ultimately we just took away the minuscule little strays ‘round the outside’ and I taught her how to find her shape. This new client is th...e daughter of a long time client and friend. Big sis also comes to me, and now the final torch has been passed. (Still swooning)

Another brow rehab begins... This first pic represents the most common issue I see. The arch is too sharp and too soon. If your brows look like stair steps, then we need to move that arch down and out. Now I know you’re thinking down and out in life is typically a bad thing, lol, I get it. But no, not in this case. Down and out is good. Very very good. This second pic just shows a quick fill-in for her to practice in the meantime while we patiently wait for these brow hair...s to bring more friends to the party. The down and out party. Yeah I said it. So what.
