After 6 months of studying, putting what I was learning into practice, completing a 250 question test in 2.5hrs, and experiencing just a little bit of stress... THIS happened!!! I never want to stop educating myself on how to properly help others with their fitness and health. I’ve had some great instructors and trainers help me over the last 10 years and now I employ the best in our area who also continue to teach me. Some say Thursday is the pre-party for the weekend! So let’s PARTAY then! 12 Days of Christmas at the studio kicks off tomorrow! Come try your luck and get a great workout in as well! 5:15am BANDCAMP! Full body band workout! Loops bands, long bands, pull-up bands...OH MY!... 8:30am Lana is ready to SWEAT with YOU! Don’t ever underestimate the cardio and brain workout you’ll get! 4:30pm Lil will bring you strength and core set to music and when it’s all said and done you’ll ask yourself what just happened? Answer is you just killed a kick butt workout! 6:00pm Dance Fit PARTAY! Angie always brings it! Studio lights dimmed and disco lights flashing to the music!
A friendly reminder to all of our current clients to PLEASE book your classes in advance through the MINDBODY app. I recommend booking your classes a week at a time and adding them to your calendar. You are more likely to show up and NOT cancel on yourself. Also, if you need to cancel your spot in a class politely do so at least an hour in advance. This helps the instructors plan for space and equipment and opens up a spot for someone else if the class happens to be full. NEW CLIENT walk-ins are always welcome, FIRST class is FREE, and we can help you get set up on the FREE MINDBODY app. We can’t wait to see all of you in the studio this week!

Day 6: Healthy meal + recipe Unfortunately, I don’t have a recipe for the AMAZING meal I just devoured bc it was courtesy of Grind! This WAS a bowl of roasted red pepper soup, 1/2 of an apple pear pecan salad & 1/2 of a grilled cheese. It was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend letting Grind make you lunch any day of the week! #elevatepad
REMINDER Youth dance parents The dancers are working on a Christmas number to showcase for you at their last class before holiday break. Please make sure they’re at every class to be able to fully participate! Tuesday 3-5yo ballet/tap class:... Fri, Dec 11 3:30pm Tues, Dec 15 3:30pm (perform at end of class) Friday 3-5yo ballet/tap class: Fri, Dec 11 3:30pm Fri, Dec 18 3:30pm (perform at end of class) Friday 6-9yo hip hop/jazz class: Thurs, Dec 10 3:30pm Fri, Dec 11 4:30pm Fri, Dec 18 4:30pm (perform at end of class) We ask that they wear a Christmas/holiday colored outfit they can dance in on their last day of class. Whatever they have at home is fine! Miss Colby & Jenny will bring snacks for their last day as well. The schedule for 2021 will stay the same so please let Jenny know whether your child plans to continue to participate in January. Thank you, Jenny
Day 5 healthy snack photo + recipe! Who loves puppy chow or muddy buddies? This is not necessarily healthy but it’s a healthier recipe from @kalekouture, that I modified, of one of my most favorite snacks! Protein Puppy Chow 1 box plain Chex cereal... 3/4C peanut butter 3/4C dark chocolate or stevia chips 1 serving plain collagen 1/2C confectioners sugar or Swerve confectioners sugar 1/2C protein powder (must be good tasting-I use Iheartmacros vanilla sweet cream) Melt PB & chocolate 30secs at a time in microwaveable bowl until completely smooth. Add serving of collagen to pb/choc and mix well. Pour pb/choc/collagen on top of Chex & stir carefully. Make sure to coat as many pieces as possible. Mix swerve, protein powder and a serving of collagen together. Dump the dry mixture over the cereal and stir coating all pieces with the pwder. I dare you not to eat it all!!!!
