I'm excited to announce I will be opening my practice back up tomorrow. I can't wait to see everyone again and get you back on track with your wellness goals. T...hank you for choosing me to be your massage therapist, I appreciate each and everyone of you. I ask you to please be patient. Everyone misses their massage and wants to be first to get back in. I'm trying my best to get everyone rescheduled. Thank you. -Please text to check in upon arrival, I will text you once I'm ready for you to come in. -I will be wearing a mask, it is recommended that clients wear masks to enter the building. -Upon entering the building please wash your hands. -Please reschedule if you are sick. If you are sick you will not get your massage. -At this time my thermometer has not arrived so I will not be able to take temperatures. -I will be blocking extra time between clients for cleaning and santitzation.

After the last few days of events I had to really sit back and decide what I believe to be best, after much thought I believe that is joining the rest of the th...erapists in my space by closing for the recommend 2 weeks. Massage is my passion and while I can not even imagine not working on my amazing clients for that long I do believe it is best! Our massage chapter and insurance have recommended all therapists close due to being non essential, close contact providers. Multiple businesses in the area are closing, dentist offices and now restaurants on dine out options only per Franklin County. I have already had many cancellations. Yesterday the amount of positive cases alone almost doubled and we are receiving word in high risk areas from other therapists who waited too long and have now tested positive or are on quarantine because their clients came in symptom free and now are affected. That in turns affect every one of their clients they had come in contact with. I would be absolutely devastated if I passed this along to one of you! Please know I take this very seriously, my family will not be going out, I will not be taking my kids anywhere, we are limiting our exposure so that we can do our part. However I will be using this time to take some online continuing ed classes, one being Lomi Lomi massage. I please ask you understand, in this time of unknown for everyone. A big thank you to my essential medical provider clients who are on the front line and can’t close up shop, thank you. I am keeping all clients that are scheduled after April 6 on the calendar, at that time I will reevaluate and take it week by week. And we will reschedule as needed. However if you wish to look farther ahead or book more appointments to have them, we will do so! Below is from another therapist in a different state, I’m using only as reference as why we are choosing to close!

Today I had to take a hard, grueling look at what I believe in. I love what I do. I say this time & time again. This profession is my passion. I believe in th...e power of touch. I believe what I do day in & day out has the ability to truly impact people's lives for the better. So I sat. Tears rolling as I attempted to figure out my course of action for the days ahead. Today I came to the conclusion that what I love most could hurt the people I care for most. We are being told to keep each other at arms length, further if possible. Social distancing is the exact opposite of what I do daily. So I will close my doors. I will keep my distance. I will do what I believe is right for each of my clients, their families & my own family. When this ends, regardless of how or when, I will be content with my choice to close. I will be thankful, I AM THANKFUL, to each client that sent their love to me. That instead of being upset with my choice, lifted me up Thank you all, from the very depths of my heart. -Jamie

The health and wellbeing of my clients, their families, and my family are my number one priority! We are taking every precaution we can, so I can remain open as... long as possible. Please know if I choose to close it is because I feel that is what is best for everyone! I see 4- 7 clients a day and 20- 35 clients a week. I work with the Elderly, immune compromised ( as is my husband) and other health related compromised individuals. I only make an income if I see clients, but no amount of money trumps someone's health. Please reschedule without penalty or judgment if: -you are uncomfortable going out in public -you have traveled out of the country in the last month -you have traveled to another state within the last 2 weeks -you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms,( you can be rescheduled after 2 weeks) I will reevaluate and close if: -my massage insurance mandates -the state of Missouri mandates ( a few states currently have) -there are reports in Franklin or Gasconade co. -myself, family member, coworker or client has had contact with someone being exposed -I have more cancelations then appointments being kept I appreciate each and every one of you, thank you for your support and understanding!

I feel like this should go without saying but please, PLEASE, stay home if you're sick. This goes for all illness. The flu. Colds. ... Stomach bugs. ANYTHING CONTAGIOUS. I will happily reschedule you. Your health is important to me. YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO ME! Please be considerate

I am blessed to have so many amazing clients and I appreciate each and everyone of you! My massage practice has grown in ways I couldn't have dreamed of in the ... last year, in thanks to all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I ask for a little bit of patience as I try to learn how to balance my existing clients while still accepting referrals. I am currently booking about a month out with only two or three appointments available within that month time frame. To ensure my existing clients are able to schedule their appointments I recommend scheduling at least a month or two out, or as far out as you are able to do so. I also have a cancellation list, so if at any point you would like me to put you on it, please let me know. If you need to cancel your appointment please give 24 hours notice, so that I can then schedule someone on my cancelation list. If you no show or cancel last minute, I am unable to then reschedule that time. However I do understand weather, sickness and emergencies happen. Again, thank you for allowing me to be your massage therapist!

No call/No show: I get it, I really REALLY do. Things happen. Plans change, scheduling mistakes happen. Sickness happens. Little ones getting ill without warni...ng, happens. Unknown forces keeping you from making your appointment, happens. But.... Please, PLEASE, I beg of you, call/send a text or email, don't just No show without sending something to let your Therapist know what's going on. We worry about you, we really do. We are seriously THE MOST understanding humans you will ever meet. We know that things happen. We have littles of our own. We get sick, just like you. We have families & cars & forces that keep us from our appointments as well.... But you see, that hour time slot you booked, that's our childs soccer shoes or enough groceries for the week. We don't make an hourly wage, every hour on the hour no matter what and your appointment could have gone to someone else if we are given enough notice. We only make our income IF you are there. We have to redo our budgets based on the number of clients we see, that actually show up. We leave our families to be here with you & we love to be here for you BUT you have to actually be here with us. No call no show is a big deal in our world of massage. So again, I beg of you, call/text/email, cancel your appointment online when you get that 24 hour in advance alert that you have an appointment the following day.. but do not, no show. We depend on you as much as you depend on us. We choose this profession, helping & loving humans day in and day out, please respect our time & love. With that being said, if you decide to schedule an appointment online, a debt or credit card will be required to schedule the appointment. 24 hour notice will be needed if you need to cancel or you will be charged 50% of the service you missed. In the case that you No call/No show on your scheduled appointment, 100% of the service you missed will be charged. Please respect our time. Just like yours, it's valuable. Thank you Jamie
