Dear Eldon Community, Last April, we asked you to complete a survey about what our community needed to do to improve. Attached is the survey for your reference.... A win we found through the survey is that our community really has a lot to offer our citizens. With exceptional parks, recreation, shopping, restaurants, churches, schools, health systems, and family support programs, Eldon has become a great place to live, work, and play. Some of these attributes have become Eldon’s best kept secrets. We want to celebrate everything Eldon has to offer while continuing to look for ways to improve our community. Once we are able to communicate that message, we will grow and continue to get better together. We took the information from the survey and have developed some key priority areas that we are going to work on to improve. 1. Housing 2. City Infrastructure 3. Rock Island Depot/Trail Development 4. Project Rise - Support families by educating them in opportunities and resources within our community. 5. Business Speaker Series 6.
