Feeding the Nations in St. Louis Since Covid began, Oasis International has done over 2,500 home visits and deliveries to refugee families. There are many refugee families still struggling. They would like to Feed the Nations with foods that are staples of their diet this November and early December. Our English as a Second Language Program is sponsoring a collection from Epiphany. They will be collecting items to fill boxes to give to Oasis for them to distribute. Each b...ox will contain: Large bag of rice Large vegetable oil Large pasta Large sugar Large white flour Dry lentil beans Large canned chopped tomatoes Several cans of canned chick peas Several cans of red beans or fava beans You can help in several ways. You can buy specific items and drop them off at church in the narthex or church office; you can you can buy all the items on the list to create a box; or if you prefer to have someone else do the shopping for you, you can make a donation with your weekly offering (please indicate the portion for Oasis collection or Feed the Nations) by leaving it in the collection baskets on Sunday or by mailing it or bringing it to the church office. All donations need to be brought to church by Sunday, November 1, 2020.

Saturday, October 31, 2020 If you would like to donate candy for the event, please bring to the church office or leave it in the decorated box in the narthex on Sunday morning. Thank you! ... Come Help Maintain the Median! October 18, 4:00 p.m. We will meet to pull weeds and plant more vegetation in the median to the east of church. A Thrivent Grant has been given to purchase plants and we volunteer the labor. Gloves provided but please bring a trowel or kneeler if desired. Food to follow at 5:15 p.m.

Congregational Meeting THIS Sunday, October 18, 2020 Following Worship Copies of the agenda, the minutes from the October 2019 meeting, the budget, and the new constitution will be available Sunday in the Narthex.

Confirmation & First Communion Classes beginning this Sunday, October 18. Continuing confirmation students and any child in 6th - 8th grade that has not begun taking the confirmation class is welcome to attend. The first meeting on October 18th will begin with a parent meeting at 6:00 p.m. The classes will be held on Sunday evenings through Sunday, May 2, 2021 with Confirmation scheduled for May 9, 2021. First communion classes for 5th grade students are also beginning this ...Sunday, Oct. 18th and will continue for the next 4 weeks following this Sunday (Oct. 25, Nov. 1, 8, &15) with First Communion being planned for Sunday, November 22, 2020 during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Yesterday Pastor Tim Staffeld was installed as the new Pastor of Epiphany! Welcome Pastor Tim, Courtney, and family! We are excited to see what the future holds for Epiphany!
