Market questions answered. What can I do with these herbs? At home we place them in a jar of water in a cool dark place. It is an edible bouquet for your refrigerator with at least one blossoming herb in the mix.... I like to add freshly roughed lemon balm and pineapple mint to water, let steep at room temperature for 2-6 hours depending on temperature, then remove leaves and place in fridge. Then enjoy later chilled, or with ice. Also great to blend with frozen summer melon for a slush. If you have more questions about cleaning up fresh herbs send me a message. Erin and Tyler Bernsen of Eddington Farm are starting Legacy Circle Farms with the help of an investor. We now have the land and resources to grow out our dreams of a sustainable learning farm. Where we can learn, teach and grow together. Currently we are accepting families into our summer program. See the link below. Have expertise in foraging or sustainable farming? We have available land to forage or grow on. Contact Erin for more information.... https://www.facebook.com/events/336586603700887/?ti=as See more

My little helper here gathered bittercress blossoms while I harvested raspberry leaves. Working with your kids can be so very rewarding.

23 April 2019 Check out the video to see what is going in our Ozark Oasis in Sullivan. The paw paw, berries, ginger, delphinium, phlox and many other Missouri natives have been growing here naturally for generations. ... The mullein and yarrow were started from wild seed we harvested from our neighbors field. Allium seeds were saved from Henry's Farm in Illinois. Oregano seed from Baker Creek. Saint John's wart and catmint seed from Strictly Medical. Other plants from local nurseries, friends and family. What will you grow to know when you no longer mow? Our young farmer has a thing or two to say about harvesting spinach for lunch while helping out at Henry's Farm last week. @forevertinkering #kidsinthekitchen #kidsinthefield #forevertinkering #fieldtoface #fieldtofork #henrysfarm
