Happy Friday, friends! It's been a hot minute since we've taken the time to introduce ourselves. So, with that, we thought that we would share some fun facts for you to learn a little bit more about Lauren and her favorite things. C O F F E E... "I don’t need any added caffeine so whatever I get, it’s decaf. I like to work my way through the menu someplace. trying something new is so fun! But honestly, I mostly just get tea!" O U T F I T "I love mixing styles, patterns, or colors. Dressing up is fun like once a week, but I’d much rather be in my oversized chiefs sweatshirt and my slipper booties." D E S I G N S T Y L E "I love slightly feminine design elements and mixing typefaces! Pairing two typefaces that seemingly don’t go together but look great is so satisfying!" A C T I V I T Y "I love being active. When I’m sitting still, I go crazy. I like to swim, bike, craft, try new restaurants, and binge watch Netflix shows with my husband." M U S I C "I LOVE the Lumineers. I literally cried at their concert last year when the lead singer touched my hand. That’s super embarrassing to say out loud now..." See more

One of our favorite parts of this job is meeting with couples and learning about their story. Based on your story, personality, and overall vibe, we can create something completely tailored to you as a couple. We like to make a mess and show you loads of examples including calligraphy styles, paper textures, font choices, color options, envelope sizes, and so much more. ... It's an honor to design for you and create something so special for the most important day of your lifewe want it to be perfect and make a lasting impression.

Mixed materials make quite the first impression for your big day.

Big news, friends! We’ve said goodbye to our beloved ampersand and said hello to a brand new look for East + West. It took some soul searching, a year full of new experiences and a lot of not-quite designs, but I think we’ve finally nailed it.... Lauren + I have always had a special place in our hearts for paper cranes after being introduced to them while we were on the adventure of a lifetime. Then when we learned that these sweet, little birds are a symbol for hope, peace + happiness, it all just clicked that we wanted to incorporate the paper crane into E+W. Just as the cranes are folded with love to bring hope + happiness for another’s future, we create with love for those that are in love so that, just maybe, our small role will bring happiness to your life, big day or special occasion.
