The last two archery seasons have had their challenges but these students, their guardians and our incredible archery community have buckled down and taken care of business. We are state bound and I could not be more proud of them.

As the 2019/2020 Archery Season approches there are some things we need to keep in mind. No.1 - Dates. All dates regarding the 2019/2020 season, once finalized, will be sent out to all returning archers and parents. No. 2 - Grades. As always, JHS Archery's primary focus is academic. Keep your grades up and continue to be program ambassadors in the classroom and community. No. 3 - Funding. Archers should continue to build connections with community members and potential sp...onsors/donors. No. 4 - String Bows. Returning archers are encouraged to clock time on their string bows. If you want to become a better archer, the process starts there. JHS archers are also encouraged to seek out practice opportunities in the community. No. 5 - Team/Recruitment. Archers should be doing their best to build connections with non-archers and get younger students interested in participating. They should also continue to be supportive and helpful to their teammates from last year. Our program expectations do not start and stop at the range doors and morale is vitally important to the success of the team. - lb
