This is a great article by a psychologist explaining that we are ALL grieving something through this time of isolation. If you are struggling during this difficult season, you are not alone! Please call us if you need to talk to someone. We have virtual as well as in-office sessions available. https://blogs.webmd.com//grieving-the-loss-of-life-as-we-k

We have always known that your mental health is "essential" to your overall health and well being...but we are especially thankful that our local governing bodies also see the need for our community to stay mentally healthy during this current State of Emergency. Green County and the City of Springfield leaders chose to acknowledge mental health providers as an "essential business" yesterday in the "Stay at Home" order. This means that we will continue to be here for you if you are struggling emotionally with all the uncertainties in our world today. We are currently offering in-office (limited numbers at a time) as well as telehealth/virtual therapy sessions for those who prefer to stay in their homes. Please give us a call at 417-862-8282 if you need someone to talk to.

With all the uncertainty in our world today we know that many of you may be experiencing more stress and anxiety than normal. We want to encourage you and let you know that we are here for you. Currently our offices are remaining open with increased efforts toward safeguarding our staff and clients. We are limiting the number of people in the waiting room at one time and are encouraging clients to wait in their cars and we will call you when your therapist is ready to see you. We are also making telahealth/virtual online therapy sessions available. Please call the office if you have any questions or concerns. And please join us in continuing to pray for our country.
