Duncan Family Farm

Today was move in to the big barn day for 7 ewes and their babies. As always there is a lot of mass confusion by the baby lambs and ewes as they get moved together in a larger area. Lambs we’re running around and loving the extra space! The boys were cleaning out water buckets and found an ice chunk that they thought looked like a great barn crown!

The boys are doing an amazing job. 17 baby lambs in the barn and doing well. We have had to help a little along, as there were a few new mommas but they are getting there so that is a great sign. Here are some new pics!

And so it begins, a favorite time of the year around the farm ...... lambing season. Saturday was lambing barn move in day an not a minute too early as the boys had their first lambs arrive around 2:30 am this morning!
