First we welcomed one of the newest members of our team, Devon. He got the wonderful job of cleaning up the ducts for a unicorn ! Yesterday DDUSAKC responded to a Client in the Brookside area that reported a lack of airflow was causing their evaporator coil to freeze up. Upon inspection the supply plenum had insulation that had fallen which was creating a blockage on the discharge side. The return air pans and ducts were all heavily built up with dust and debris . Creating a reduction in return airflow. After a thorough cleaning and reinstalling the insulation, we let the coil melt, and assisted w...ith getting the cool air flowing again through the home! Just in time for a HOT KC WEEKEND!
