Today feels like the millionth Monday of Covid - virtual work and classrooms, coming off another weekend spend with limited and/or modified social events. While Covid and related restrictions continue, our nation's mental health is notably suffering. And reduced access to one of our most protective coping resources, social support, is complicating the problem. I came across this interesting NPR article about a month after it's release. As an interpersonal psychotherapy provi...der (IPT), it's no surprise the following quote stood out to me: "In virtually every wide-scale disaster I studied, there is a sense of human resilience people come together... Interpersonal support is the single best predictor of human resilience.
