Because of different cancellations Downey House is available this weekend and the next 2 weekends (and days in between). Farm House and Downey had cancellations over Thanksgiving weekend. Wednesday and Thursday nights have already been taken but Friday and Saturday nights are available for both houses. I know it is November 1st but Downey House and Farm House has its interior Christmas up now thanks to a lot of close friends. I have to agree it is a little early but given how busy the houses and myself are later in the month now was the perfect time. As the saying goes, you will thank me later.

Farm House looking more like a Farm House

We had a cancellation for Plattsburg Graduation (May 15-17). If anyone is interested in renting The Farm House during graduation weekend let us know. Because that is a high requested weekend we do require a minimum of 2 night stay.

Wow, what a great year 2014 was! Thank you to each and every one of our guests who stayed with us this last year. Granted, we may not be Chicago or Michigan, but it's hard to ignore the fact that the nightly rentals are bringing some tourists into Plattsburg, and generating some economic benefits. Shouts out to the Biswell family & friends from Kansas City who found a new way to use The Farm House: they hosted a Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery over the weekend. They were so pleased with the house and the town of Plattsburg, they plan on making this an annual tradition! How fun! We look forward to their return.
