I am in complete awe of the work done by our teachers and staff in the Francis Howell School District. 2020 has turned many of our worlds upside side down, and it has significantly effected how educators can educate. This pandemic has thrown many curve balls at the FHSD, and each one of them have been met with grace, determination, mental fortitude, duty of service, adaptability and ingenuity! This past Thursday the Board of Education was presented with the video, below, ...regarding best practices for virtual learning. It highlighted all that is great about our teachers and staff. These teachers and staff members are not just "going through the motions" they are striving for excellence and helping students thrive during this worldwide health crisis. Because of them, and the resiliency of our students, new approaches to education have been forged, and will likely have long lasting positive effects. I tip my hat to all of the FHSD's students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. Your work has not gone unnoticed.
