Our friends in the Igloo room worked on expressing themselves creatively by making a group art project! This also provided an opportunity to enhance fine motor skills by using q-tips as paint brushes!

For children who are seen at the Children's Clinic, there is a delay in delivery of the influenza vaccine due to the wildfires on the west coast. Most places will not vaccinate children < 9 years old, including CVS, Wal-Greens, and other community flu shot clinics. Here is a list of BJC and SSM clinics that will vaccinate children starting at 6 months and above. These are all either walk-in or drive through, first come, first served. No appointment is necessary. Today's menu includes a delicious veggie or chicken pizza made using fresh vegetables served with a side of cauliflower and honeydew! Yum Yum!

Some of our kiddos and infant teachers had a splashing good time investigating containers, nets, and balls to explore the water! Sensory play is a great way to learn about properties of objects, cause and effect through trial and error, and develop motor skills.

Hey DCC families! We will be at the center this Saturday and Sunday from 8-12 cleaning up the playground! We'll provide doughnuts and we would love to have you come join us!

Happy Friday everyone! Today we had an appreciation lunch for our wonderful staff. Their passion, knowledge, and love help shape all our little humans and make the center the magical place it is. Thanks for working hard through new routines, and for always having a smile (under that mask!) and open arms and hearts for children. We appreciate all of you! And let’s talk about this food!
