We're giving a little love to this 2008 Dodge 6.7L turbo on #turbotuesday. This one was giving codes for vane/actuator failure. Upon inspecting the vane assy was excessively worn on most of the outer vanes (2). We had 3 Sigma pumps come in to be checked out for the Outlaw limited pro class (15MM B&P max) 2 of the the 3 were in great condition, one we found just in time to prevent a cam lobe from causing some major damage. We had a 2012 Duramax in the stall and noticed some exhaust that looked like it was coming out of the V-band on the turbine housing of the turbo. Upon further inspection we found a crack running along 3-4 inches of the casting, causing an exhaust leak. #turbotuesday #turbolife #duramax #diesellife #dieselnation

We've been a little lazy on our social media posts this year but it's never too late to get back on track. This #turbotuesday we have a Holset HE431 off of an ISX Cummins that had codes for the vanes. As you can see there was some foreign object damage that bent the nozzle ring (vane assy) and the turbine wheel.
