Good evening! Steve Pringle with Diakonos Counseling. I apologize for not posting last Thursday evening. I was not able to post due to traveling and having very poor cell signal. This evening I want to share a word in writing that gets to the heart of the matter. The word SAFE.......most everyone I know likes to feel safe. You have most likely had moments when you did not feel safe for some reason. I have one question for each of us to think about this week. Do peo...ple feel safe around you us? Or, do people feel tense and uneasy when with you us? We all need to regularly do a mental reality check and ask ourselves.....Do we provide a safe atmosphere when people are with us. If not, we need to search for the reasons why. Helping people feel safe is a great blessing we can pass to others if we really want to. Here is a self talk statement all of us need to say to ourselves on a regular basis. This is an extension of the video I presented last Thursday evening. I choose to improve my SELF CONTROL, and if I cannot, I will ask for help. Will be presenting again Thursday evening on another word that GETS TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER of healthy living.
