Primary Job Function: Assist machine operators on various production machinery from light to heavy presses. ... Specific Job Responsibilities: Assist in loading material into or removing finished parts from the presses Notifies material handler when parts are finished or skid or containers need to be moved Uses pallet jack or hoist to position material or containers Deburs parts as necessary Help with visually inspecting parts Assist in counting parts and reconciling inventory quantities Helps with the lubrication of parts, tooling changeovers, and housekeeping This position offers a 7% shift differential for working 3rd shift.

Only applications received in person will be considered for this position. Primary Job Function: Select correct parts from stock and package parts to be shipped to the appropriate destination. ... Specific Job Responsibilities: Read the shipping list and locate the parts to be shipped Label and make sure existing stock labels are correct Use the proper packaging for each shipment Use the plastic wrapper and bander as necessary Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks Maintain a knowledge of stock and locations This positions does require forklift experience.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend and coworker, Roger Teubner. Roger worked at Detroit Tool for 42 years. He took pride in his work and always gave 100% in everything he did. His loyalty, generosity and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. We will truly miss him.
