A message to all our clients and their amazing dogs: We have been reclassified as an essential business! This means we will be back in shop starting Monday, the 27th! We are very happy and looking forward to grooming all of your beautiful pups again! The quarantine is still currently in effect, and that does mean that in order to open there are rules and regulations that we must follow. There will be a full list if them posted on the front door of the shop if you would like ...to know the full extent, but the main one that we must mention now is that we can no longer allow customers inside the shop at this time. When you bring your dogs to the shop for their appointment we will come to your car and take the dogs inside, and we will take them out to you when you come to pick them up. We will do our best to keep an eye out, but we encourage you to call the shop number when you arrive and we will come right out to you. Thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding in these hard times. We are very happy to be getting back to doing what we love and taking care of your pups.

A heartfelt message to all my clients and their wonderful dogs during this time of COVID 19 crisis: I wish that I was able to help your pets during this shutdown, but until I'm able to move forward with the city's permission I'm going to have to remain closed until I can re-open. My heart goes out to all of you who, along with their dogs, are suffering because of the lack of available grooming out there.... I've had to turn down a plethora of requests regarding owners who are in a desperate situation and need to have their dogs groomed for health reasons alone. Believe me when I say I am just as concerned about the health and well-being of your dogs as you are. If I were to attempt to groom your dog my business license could be revoked and I could no longer practice dog grooming at all. It is for this reason that I am unable to offer any of my clients help at this time, no matter how much I wish I could. I would urge you to write the Mayor of Kansas City and your city council, letting them know how you feel about labeling the grooming of a dog as a "Non-Essential" business. Our dogs are members of our families, and allowing them the right to stay healthy by grooming is a essential part of being a responsible dog owner. Thank you for your past business, and hopefully your future business as well so I can continue to deliver caring, professional help to our furry friends I wish for a safe, speedy end to this crisis so we can all get back to the business of living life to the fullest. Hey everyone! All of us here at Deanna's Doggie Boutique are very excited to announce that in the coming months we are going to begin selling several new products! First up, hand made accessories! Puppy bow-ties, formal ties, reversible collar bandanas as well as normal tie-on bandannas. And don't worry, for our girls we will be making collar bows, and collar flowers so they can feel extra pretty! Second up, we will begin producing and hand making dog treats! There will be do...g biscuits of various flavors and sizes, all hand made with love. On top of these we know that we have a lot of fur babies that take medications, but those pills taste yucky! To remedy that we are also going to be making and selling our own home made peanut butter pill pockets! We are very proud to have been servicing our clients and their furbabies for over 30 years, and we are looking forward to growing together for many more years to come!

Thank you to everyone that gave money for the GoFundMe page for our new shop. We are moved in and up and running to full capacity. Have several touch up things to do to be finished but satisfied with what we have accomplished. We so appreciate everyone's support thru our hard times.
