Throwback Thursday: the Dan Smith Agency Booth at the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals convention in 2010 in Columbia MO. Craig Sheller will represent me this year at MAFF. It's being held at the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend. He will help with producing the band showcase, including his band and also CJ Ryder and PastMasters along with the dozen or so acts represented by other entertainment agencies. I wish then all a safe event.

Sad news from my old friend, John McEuen.

I'm stoked that the new CD from The Klick is about to drop. The boys laid down their basic tracks here before Covid-19 gummed up the works, but all's well that ends well, as they say.

John Mumma UPDATE John Mumma, Riverrock's banjo / pedal steel guitar / bass player, suffered a stroke a couple of weeks ago and we have been asked frequently how he's doing. So,we will let John speak for himself "HI, all,... I appreciate everyone checking on me while I am still in rehab. Coordination on my right side is returning slowly. I no longer brush my teeth like a three year old or drag my right hand through the mashed potatoes at dinner. I should be discharged next Friday. Eventually, I hope to play the banjo (That's funny, you're saying, he never could before!!!). Anyway, thanks again and stay safe, John"

This is the one booking that I secured from the Kansas Fairs and Festivals Association showcase this last January that didn't get cancelled or postponed to 2021. Craig Sheller takes the stage tonight at the Stevens County Fair in Hugoton KS. Today Craig will join Joe Denoyer, mayor of Liberal KS and program director for KSCB/The Legend for an interview and music. Follow the link below, just after noon, to catch it live on line.

Got a call from Riverrock band mate, Paul Mumma. His brother, John, also with Riverrock, suffered what's believed to be a mild stroke over the weekend. He will be having tests run tomorrow to hopefully determine what actually happened. I will post what I know when I know it.
