Set up my brand new paint sprayer and went after the basement room today. Looks alot better. Ran outta paint. But almost got a full coat on the whole room. Have to get another 2 buckets. And give it all another coat or two.

Also check out this neat little gem. I know the duct work for the heat and air system was old. I found this tagged next to the pipe going to the first floor. Said hot first on the back. The real question. When did Joplin last have a 4 digit phone number. That's how old the ductwork in the house is. Lol

Been busy at my shop lately plus I caught the flu so hadnt done much. But today I got over. Cleared the basement out and actually washed the walls down with a fire nozzle. Lots of dirt and dust washed off the walls. And lose paint and debris. But thankfully the drain in the basement floor works great. Also got the toliet in the basement flushed and hosed down. Gotta be 50s or older. Odd looking thing with a pipe between the stool and tank but the tank wasnt ment to hang high on the wall. It will be coming out soon to get a new one. Not like we really need one going in the basement but the plumbing is there so why not plus it will give me one in my work area of the basement. Amber room of the basement looks alot better washed. And if dried tomarrow afternoon. Will be getting sprayed with a couple coats of paint.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. It was an extremely small gathering here at the James Dangerfield House. With all the hours I've been working, I did not really feel like cooking, so I got a ham to warm up in the oven and microwaveable side dishes, and that was fine for Allan, my husband Larry, and myself. I want to thank everyone who donated decorations for the house. Unfortunately, with the amount of overtime I'm currently working, plus trying to get moved in, I ...didn't get as much up as I'd have liked to. Garland strung along the front of the veranda, a gorgeous wreathe up on the main door, and my Christmas tree up in the big picture window in the sitting room. But I've got a headstart on next year...I'm already checking out the online after Christmas sales, looking for some more of the garland that was donated...there wasn't quite enough to go all the way around the side of the veranda that faces 4th street. That will be resolved by next year...lol. Again, thank you to all who donated! ~Amber~ See more

So got that corner finished up. Now I just got all the rest of the cutting to do to fit around the room. Moved the cabinet to be the sink base into place and centered so amber can check it out tomarrow. And before she left I caught a pic of where I been finding her each night. Lol sitting on that sofa. Lol
