THANKFUL for all my clients who are being troopers through my required masking policy. Trust me when I say to you I *never* imagined 2020 would have me talking your face off through my mask. But THIS is why we're still doing it.

First & foremost, for my client/friends, THANK YOU for being so compliant & understanding with our correspondence. As a stylist/person, I don't like to disappoint people & I know extended appointment times & limits on days isn't ideal. **SALON RE-OPENING INFO** With the state wide order for MO lifting on May 3rd, I am currently in the planning/ordering process for opening back up *soon-ish*. ...This has been a difficult, mixed feelings decision based on numbers & science & information from health organizations. The hoops we need to jump through as both stylists & clients is going to take a commitment on both our parts & will take us more than a minute to adjust to, for sure, but I think we can all rise to the challenge together. <3 The plans currently being made for the salon space (shared with the gals of The Rite Cut) are to ensure that we keep not only our clients as safe as we can, but even more importantly... for us...that we keep ourselves & our families safe. One of the biggest changes coming will be that we must LIMIT our days we can work because we must LIMIT the people inside our space. THIS WILL MAKE SCHEDULING A LITTLE SLOWER, but not as slow as *closed for business* (so there's a silver lining, right?) Tomorrow I'll post some of the NEW guidelines & procedures on my salon page, Cybil's Studio C, so you can better prepare for your next appointment. (If you aren't already following my page, click LIKE when you get there so you have all the current info.) PLEASE, be patient with me while I try to make these adjustments & find time & space for you as a client & IF *in this time period* I AM NOT ABLE TO SEE YOU SOON ENOUGH, know upfront that I hold no bad feelings if you seek out hair services somewhere else. I understand wanting *sooner* rather than *later*, but I can't make more hours in a day. We can still run into each other in town & smile & be friends & (not) hug. I mean, I'll WANT to hug you probably, but now it's not a good idea so you *non-huggers* are safe! :) **ALSO, my online appt system is currently OFF so that I can find some kind of calm in the chaos that will be my work schedule for the next couple months. Stay safe & sane & wash your hands, friends! ;)

We’ve lost track of how many times we’ve felt like THESE TIMES are uncharted waters for all of us, but here we are again. <3 With the extension of social distan...cing set to April 30th (& area schools are now closed till then, too) PLUS our state of Missouri offering no further clarity on a statewide shelter in place order, it is with a heavy heart that we are sharing WE WILL BE CLOSED until further notice. If you have an appointment scheduled between now and April 30th (or any mandated date announced hereafter), please consider it cancelled. At this exact moment, we are not able to reschedule any appointments. As soon as there is a true & solid date that we can legally/ethically open our doors and operate, we will officially begin rescheduling everyone. Listen...we know your roots may drive you crazy & your highlights may get so super dull you can't stand it & your bangs will be chin length by the time this is over. But trust us when we say, this unexpected time with our loved ones...this monumental pause in time... can be (is) a gift. Treat it as such. If you’d like for us to find you links to touch up sprays that other stylists are recommending & love OR our favorite tips and tricks to allow your hair to enjoy this pause as well...just reach out to us. But also know this...if your color is driving you so insane that you reach for a box at the store OR you grab the kitchen scissors for a perfectly/imperfect bang trim we won’t judge. :) Our health is our wealth right now & we mean that to our core. We miss our home away from home, too, & we can’t wait to hang out with you again. Stay well! <3
