What is the future for agents??? This past weekend, a friend told me that he wished he would have just FSBO’d his home and thought he did the majority of the work and also wished he bought a house w/o a realtor for the same reason. He said I only needed a realtor for legal reasons...... Guys, this is super important stuff. Your clients are more important than the transaction Please please please let this sink in. It is your responsibility to be leading the entire transact...ion. Until every house is the same...realtors will always be needed for the following reasons: To tell the story of the house they’re showing their client or selling for their client To guide them into a good financial decision. Be upfront about the property and warn your clients if the house might be a lemon. Educate them on the location as well. Negotiating terms...I can’t speak highly enough on this one. Having a realtor that can set clients up for success on how to win multi-offer bids is HUGE in this crazy market Lender connections. Realtors don’t just give anyone their business. There’s a reason they work with certain lenders and it shouldn’t be due to how much they reward them. Shoutout to all the realtors out there living by integrity and putting their clients first You’re going places and with your mindset, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A FUTURE FOR YOU

RECHARGE YOUR MIND THIS MONTH Coming at you on this fine Monday with some powerful stuff Up until a few years ago, I used to think mindset trainings were for the weak. That if you didn’t naturally have the right mindset, then you weren’t meant to. I know...shame on me. I attended my first mindset summit a few years back with the hopes of networking. That was my only goal walking through those doors. Not to anyone’s surprise, half way through that summit...I wanted to sl...ap myself. I’ll talk more on this through the week, but today I want to start the week off strong because we only have 31 days until 2021 Can you believe it?!?! I’m going to be putting you to the test every day this month by in fact, GIVING you a CHALLENGE Each day, I want you to take action on these challenges and incorporate them into your week the rest of the month. THEN, by the end of the month, you should have the mindset to kiss 2020 blues goodbye and be ready to face any obstacle that comes your way in 2021 WHOSE READY?!?! Each challenge will be posted in my stories day after day

Did you know??? If your mindset is set on slowing down right now because you’re going into down season, you’re missing out on SO MUCH opportunity. Call your COI Send your sellers their to-do lists for making home improvements... DON’T STOP making appointments until you have 20 hot listings in your pipeline BEFORE CHRISTMAS Most importantly, be yourself and listen to your COI. Nurture them and help them with whatever you can this year. They said they really need to have their leaves cleared out? Schedule it for them. This year has been hard on so many, but if you show your value and that they’re so much more than your income.....you’ll never be forgotten when they hear of someone needing a good realtor. LOVE ON YOUR PEOPLE

You know the best method to get quality online leads??? That’s right, ORGANICALLY!! For realtors, there is SO much competition in the area that spending the money for SEO is redundant and you’d honestly find more amusement out of setting that budget on and watching it burn When you use hashtags that real people in your area are looking for, you instantly show up right in front of their eyes. Be intentional with your hashtags and search for the highest follower count for each before you make the decision to use it. My advice: choose 3-5 hashtags from each of the above categories for each of your posts (and make sure they’re relevant to your post content)

I’ve been absent on media... I thought long and hard on this as being present across platforms is a huge part in my career. However, I made the decision to be present for this very special day. I’m blessed to have had the clients that I have because they too, agreed in this decision and to be present in this milestone. Marriage is very sacred, but to me, it was a terrifying decision. These days, divorce is so common. I’m a child of divorce myself. No one enters a marriage (I ...would hope) to think that it might end in divorce. But the statistics don’t lie. This man doesn’t believe in it. We’ve spent so many nights discussing the topic. Marriage is for life. Making the decision to write our own vows and do our best to keep those vows day in and day out, is a huge decision. For anyone, the day you make those commitments under God himself isn’t something to be taken lightly. Why am I saying all of this?? What does this have to do with this company?? Part of Cup of Jo + Co’s brand is being present in all things (adding automation to your business ), so that you can enjoy moments like these...knowing your baby is well taken care of while you’re away. Systems are everything and having them in place for when you’re away as well helps us live the life we want. The whole reason we chose this life of entrepreneurship. I’ve been present and soaking in this purely beautiful time with my husband and finishing up on projects. But I’m back and here to give you all the tips, support and to remind you of why you chose this profession.
