He seems to run the subdivisions along DD. Last evening he was spotted in Indian Hills, the Medows subdivision, Eden Prairie and found his way to Pizza Hut where he was picked up and taken to the shelter. We do not know the owners. It's hard to imagine how the animals must feel when they come into our care after being discarded or abandoned. We like to think they are the lucky ones that find their way to the Cuba Shelter. We do our best to comfort them and assure them they have come to the right place. Mister was all alone after his owner left. He was confused and scared. While in our care he is doing very well. Mister has a new name and a fresh start and is ready to settle into a loving home. If you are looking for a calm and friendly cat, Mister is very sweet and ready for the second chance he deserves. No matter how many times we see it, it never ceases to amaze us how a broken dog can forgive and trust again with just a little care and love. Winnie was broken. She came into our care in the middle of an ice storm. She was cold, thirsty and hungry. She cowered in fear and trembled when we went into her kennel. . Day by day, the staff worked with her to gain her trust. She is being treated for parasites, enjoying nutritious meals and in just a short time, she is becomin...g a very different dog. Winnie is still being watched carefully as she completes her medication. In the meantime, it is so fun to see her discover that baths are good, toys are fun, treats taste good and people actually love her. Winnie has a wonderful home waiting for her when she is released from Dr. Melanie. We will take good care of her in the meantime. #wegotthisthankstoyou

Chanel was adopted and goes home to meet her new cat fur brother Lou along with her dog siblings Leo, Max and Kloe. Her new name is Callie and she is ready to live happily ever after. Have a good life Callie! #homesweethome #onebighappyfamily

The first call of the day was an injured fox hit by a car. We kept him comfortable but sadly he succumbed to his injuries. He did not suffer thanks to a loving team. #somedaysaresad #bestteamever
