When can I get a COVID-19 vaccine? CDC recommends healthcare personnel and long-term care facility residents get vaccinated first, followed by frontline worker...s and adults 75 years and older. Adults 65 and older, people with certain underlying medical conditions, and other essential workers are recommended in the next phase. **While CDC makes general recommendations for who should be offered COVID-19 vaccine first, each state has its own plan for deciding which groups of people will be vaccinated first and how. Please contact your local health department for more information on its planning for COVID-19 vaccination. Learn more from CDC: https://bit.ly/2IyOhZ3. FOR MISSOURI RESIDENTS: Missouri is still in Phase 1A at this time. See below for more information. Missourians will qualify for vaccination based on priority phases, anticipating a limited initial supply. Those eligible first include patient-facing health care workers and staff and residents of long-term care facilities. As vaccine availability expands, we will strategically target vaccination efforts to those residents most at riskour elderly and those with medical conditions which place them at higher risk. The timeline for subsequent priority groups will be determined once future allotment information is provided by federal partners. *Phase 1A Healthcare workers, long-term care facility residents and staff *Phase 1B High risk populations, essential workers and first responders *Phase 2 Populations at increased risk *Phase 3 Widespread availability for all Missouri residents For Phase 1B - High Risk Populations are defined as: Those at increased risk for severe COVID-19 illness, including those 65 years of age or older, may receive priority: BMI > 30 Chronic Kidney Disease Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Diabetes Hypertension Chronic Heart Disease

Due to the rise in Covid-19 positive cases and exposure, we are asking that our Homebound Clients set a cooler or chair outside the door for meal delivery. We will still knock and make our appearance known, but we are trying to limit "person to person" contact. This is for both the clients health and well-being as well as our delivery persons. Also, we ask that all curb-side clients stay in their vehicle. We will come to you to delivery your meal. Thank you everyone for doing your part to help us to avoid exposure or spread of this virus. If anyone has any questions about this new delivery procedure, please call us at 573-683-6115. We will be glad to help in any way that we can. Everyone stay well and safe!

Wear a mask in public to help slow the spread of COVID-19 but be sure to wear it the right way. Position your mask so that it covers your nose and mouth. Do not... wear on your chin or under your nose. If you’re not wearing your mask properly, virus particles can spread. Learn more about the dos and don’ts of masking: https://bit.ly/30QOzQF.
